Crane Lake Getting New Sign

In addition to a major planting project to protect Crane Lake’s shoreline, the area is also getting a swanky new sign to greet visitors as they come in.

The design was one of three submitted by local residents for a contest and then voted on by the public in the first half of January. The contest received 339 individual votes, more than the population of the community. A few minor adjustments have been made for the final product, but the original drawing will largely remain intact as it gets brought to life.

Check out our article about the contest from back in January to see the other two designs that were submitted.
