Chantel Axani-Rawlake New ENDHS Principal

The Lakeland Catholic School district has announced that Chantel Axani-Rawlake will be the new Principal of École Notre Dame High School.

Axani-Rawlake was born in Cold Lake and has been a lifelong Albertan. After graduating from the University of
Alberta with a Bachelor of Education egree in 2006, Chantel began her teaching career with Lakeland Catholic
Schools. She obtained a Master’s of Education in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning with a specialization in Assessment from the University of Calgary in 2012. Chantel moved into a position of school administration at École
St. Dominic Elementary School in 2012 as Vice Principal.

“I am dedicated to Catholic Education. As a servant leader, I serve the students and parents of our schools as well as other stakeholder groups, through regular, open communication,” she said in a statement. “I am looking forward to working with the students, staff and families of École Notre Dame High School.”

Axani-Rawlake will officially step into the new role on April 18th.
