Kinosoo Ridge Referenced on British Game Show

It appears somebody in the UK who writes game show questions for a living has heard of the Lakeland’s own Kinosoo Ridge.

Manager for the ski resort Jurgen Grau was at the MD of Bonnyville’s Council Meeting Wednesday where he shared a story about a British employee that works there. Her parents came from across the Atlantic to visit her over Christmas which included some time on the ridge.

A short while after they went back home, her mother was watching one of her favourite game shows when the following question came up. “In which country would you find these three ski areas? Whistler, Marmot Basin and Kinosoo Ridge.”

“To be thought of as a ski area in Canada, in England and how that would even come up was amazing,” Grau said to council. “It was an awesome story. I love it.”
