The MD of Bonnyville continues to see fewer wolf and coyote hides brought in through their predation program this year.
Ag and Waste Director Matt Yanz told Council at today’s meeting that 609 coyotes and fifteen wolves have been hauled in. He added there was an incident in late January north of Ardmore where a farmer lost livestock to predators. However, the MD sent him some traps and Janz says he “seems to be getting some results.”
The program runs until the end of March.
