Lac La Biche Senior Killed in Car Accident Near Boyle

A 75-year-old man from Lac La Biche has passed away after a car accident near Boyle on Saturday.

Boyle RCMP say the accident involved two trucks on Highway 663, 20 kilometres east of the town. The eastbound truck swerved in front of the westbound truck and hit it head-on.

All three people involved in the accident were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver and only person in the westbound truck’s were non-life threatening while the two in the eastbound truck’s were. The driver later died at the hospital.

RCMP will not be releasing the man’s name. The investigation into what happened continues.
