Province-Wide Warrant Out for Jonathan Meakin

Cold Lake RCMP are on the hunt for 27-year-old Jonathan Meakin, who is wanted on an Alberta-wide warrant.

Cold Lake and Bonnyville RCMP  received a report of a stolen vehicle at a house on the Cold Lake First Nation. When police got there the stolen vehicle ran off, hitting one of the officer’s cars on the getaway. RCMP were unable to track the suspect down after that. While looking around the residence police uncovered four stolen trucks and a snowmobile.

Citizens are advised not to approach Meakin if he is seen; instead, please contact Cold Lake RCMP at 780-594-3301 or your local police.

Meakin is described as:
·         Caucasian

·         5’6” tall

·         Approximately 165 lbs

·         Brown hair

·         Blue eyes
