Cold Lake Woman Wins 100K on Scratch Ticket

Suzy Cardinal is the latest in a long line of Lakeland lottery winners. What she first thought was a 100 dollar winning ticket turned out be an even better 100 grand.

“I was pretty much a deer in headlights when the clerk told me my ticket was a $100,000 winner,” she said. “I thought I had won $100; I was shocked to see it was really $100,000!”

Cardinal has a few ideas what she’s going to do with the winnings.

“I want to put it toward buying some land to build a cabin,” she said. “Having a place of my own would be a dream come true!”

She also hopes to take a family trip sometime soon.

Cardinal purchased a $5 Crossword Super Ball ticket at Cold Lake Shell.
