Bonnyville RCMP continue to investigate into a two vehicle collision.

On January 12, around 4:00 pm, RCMP, Bonnyville EMS and Bonnyville Fire were dispatched to a collision scene approximately 2 kilometers west of La Corey on Hwy 55 . An eastbound Ford Crown Victoria was reported to have lost control and collided with a westbound GMC Sierra.

The male driver and lone female passenger in the GMC were injured and transported by Ambulance to the Bonnyville Hospital for treatment. The lone male driver of the Crown Victoria was also transported to Bonnyville Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Mounties say road conditions and driver impairment are being examined currently in the collision investigation. Charges against the driver of the Ford Crown Victoria are pending due to the investigation outcome.

Police are not releasing the names of the persons involved in the collision at this time.
