Woman Stumbles Into Traffic, Found to be Shoplifting

Police attended to reports of a woman stumbling into traffic on Highway 28 in Cold Lake last Tuesday and quickly found some incriminating evidence on her.

The woman had a stolen ring from the nearby Walmart on her finger and was taken into custody. Employees of the Humptys across the street also called in reporting she had stolen items in her possession. Her purse was recovered at the restaurant and had several shoplifted items in them. She faces charges of Public Intoxication and theft under 5000 dollars.
