The World Junior A Challenge will have some local representation behind the bench when it comes to Bonnyville in December.

Pontiacs coach Rick Swan has been named an Assistant for Team Canada West. Swan was named the AJHL’s coach of the year this past season and oversaw a franchise record for regular season points.
