Police Find Woman Who Reported Fake House Fire Also Has Warrants

Cold Lake RCMP have arrested an 18-year-old woman in a bizarre case where she called the cops to a non-existent house fire.

The woman reported a house fire on the Cold Lake First Nations on Thursday around 1:40 in the morning. When police showed up, all the buildings looked fine, but the woman was clearly intoxicated. Police also found out that she had eight warrants for her arrest out of Edmonton.  She was promptly taken into custody.
