Grand Opening for Cold Lake Library’s Reading Garden Saturday

The Cold Lake Library is holding a grand opening for its reading garden this Saturday at the Grand Centre Branch.

The garden comes with a patio, a stage, a swing, toys and of course lots of flowers and vegetables. The space is open to the public at all times. The opening will begin at 11 AM this Saturday and last until 2. The 4 Wing band will perform on stage and local author Roan Clay will recite a poem he has written specifically for the event.

Of course, the library’s parking lot is still under construction at this time.  Event goers are encouraged to instead use the parking at the front of city hall and across the street at the health centre instead.
