Due to permit issues with the department of Fish and Wildlife, the fishing derby portion of Lac La Biche Pow-Wow days has been cancelled for this year. The organization advertised the event without a permit last year forcing this year’s derby to be shut down.
However, the other events scheduled for Pow Wow Days -including the baseball tournament and triathlon- Â will continue as planned.
