Cold Lake RCMP Deal with Spurt of Impaired Drivers

The Cold Lake RCMP are reminding people not to drink and drive and to always plan ahead when going out to have a few beers. Police have had to deal with three impaired driving incidents in two days.

The first was in the very early hours of the 16th. A 48-year-old woman was pulled over on Highway 28 near the Casino & Mission Road and blew over the legal limit. She will appear in court on the 27th, Around 6:40 pm that same day, RCMP  issued a suspension to a 35-year-old Edson man  on Township Road 592 and Highway 897 who showed signs of drug and alcohol consumption.

Just before 2 in the morning on the 18th, June 18th RCMP pulled over a suspected impaired driver on 50th avenue. This time a 60-year-old man from Cold Lake was arrested. He too will appear in court on the 27th.
