In September the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment received a complaint that a store in Bonnyville was selling Master Key Lock Out Kits. After determining that the store owner, a 46 year old male resident of St. Paul, did not possess the appropriate licence the Bonnyville RCMP also learned that the owner opened a similar store in St. Paul. Search warrants for both locations were granted and executed, in conjunction with St. PAUL RCMP Detachment. Searches of both locations resulted in 69 lock out kits being seized along with 49 prohibited extendable batons. The owner now faces criminal charges of Selling Automobile Master Keys (x2) and Possessing A Prohibited Weapon (x2)
