Trees Vandalized at Elementary School

North Star Elementary school in Cold Lake was the victim of vandalism when two trees were knocked down over the weekend. The trees were legacy trees, which are planted yearly by the exiting grade 3 classes. Principal Connie McLeod said the school will replace the trees in the springtime, but each one will cost $200. Anyone wishing to contribute toward the effort can contact her at the school. Further, anyone with information or who witnessed suspicious activity at the school over the weekend is asked to contact the RCMP.
