Woman Charged After Failed Auto Theft Attempt

29-year-old Brittany Pettit of Cold Lake is facing five charges after being accused of stealing a truck.

Cold Lake RCMP received a call on the 9th from a man saying a woman with pink hair stole his truck on Township Road 623. He was able to catch up with her and remove her from the vehicle.

A short while later, police found the woman and arrested her.

It was discovered later that Pettit also had a warrant out for her arrest from Fort Saskatchewan for being unlawfully at large.
