New BCHS Not Funded, but Given Priority in Budget

The NDP’s new budget doesn’t provide immediate funding for any new school projects in the province, but a new Bonnyville Centralized High School has made the list of  priority projects.

A lot of provincial money is tied up in projects the government has already committed to, but as those wrap up and more revenue is made available, a new BCHS will be on the list of items they’ll look into funding next.

The new BCHS project is still very much in its infancy. Even where it will be located hasn’t been officially decided on. An area near the C2 has been looked at, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
