Cash Prizes up for Grabs in LICA Writing Contest

Students in grades 5 through 8 in the Lakeland can win up to a hundred bucksĀ in LICA’s essay contest.

The theme is “One simple act: How can you reduce emissions, and improve or maintain air quality in the LICA region?” The essay should be between 200 and 400 words in length. Make sure to include your name, address, phone number, grade and school with your essay and mail it inĀ by May 2nd.

First prize wins a hundred dollars, followed by 75 for second and 50 for third.
