Cold Lake Elementary Construction Back on Schedule

Despite being behind schedule earlier, construction on the new Cold Lake Elementary School is back on track, with the building expected to be finished by June 30th.

Director of Facilities Wayne Kurek made the announcement at Northern Lights’s board meeting this week. The drywall is almost finished and some major progress has been made on painting.  The gym should be finished by June 15th, allowing the contents of the existing school to be shipped over.

once the new school is finished, the focus will shift to construction of the bus lanes and parking lot.
