Two arrested following robbery in Bonnyville

Bonnyville RCMP have arrested two people in connection with a robbery that took place on the morning of May 29.

Officers were called to the scene on 50 avenue around 6:20 a.m., after a victim reported being robbed by a man and a woman. The victim suffered minor injuries but didn’t need medical attention.

Police quickly identifies and arrested both suspect. Jeshaiah John a 23-year-old resident of Wetaskiwin, has been charged with robbery, resisting arrest, and failing to comply with a release order. He was remanded into custody.

Geneva Bull a 22-year-old resident of Red Deer, was also charged with robbery and was initially released but was re-arrested within a few minutes for failing to comply with her release conditions. She remains in custody, awaiting a bail hearing.
