Stubbs, Goodridge projected as winners in Lakeland, Fort McMurray-Cold Lake

While the count continues in the Lakeland and Fort McMurray-Cold Lake ridings, it’s being projected that both incumbents will be heading back to Ottawa.

As of 6:00 a.m. April 29th, in Lakeland, 239 out of 246 polls are reporting with Conservative incumbent Shannon Stubbs receiving 43,372 votes, representing 81.9 per cent of votes cast. In second, Liberal candidate Barry Milaney picked up 6,360 votes.

In the Fort McMurray-Cold Lake, 219 of 220 polls are reporting, with Conservative incumbent Laila Goodridge receiving 48,767 votes; an 80.5 per cent share of the vote, with second place Liberal Candidate Kaitlyn Staines next with 6,832 votes, worth 14.2 per cent.
