Cold Lake RCMP Believe String of Public Intoxication Incidents Related

Cold Lake RCMP had a few incidents of public intoxication to deal with recently and believe they might be related.

Within a short period of time around 1 o’clock on the 28th, reports of two women throwing snowballs at passing cars, two drunk men panhandling outside the TD Bank and a report of a man and a woman across the street of the Bank slapping each other came in. The two panhandling men were arrested but the others had fled by the time police arrived.

Despite the change in gender, the RCMP believe the incidents are connected due to their proximity in location and time.
