A three-day winter extravaganza in Cold Lake

Get ready to embrace the winter wonderland Snow Fever, a thrilling three-day festival of winter fun co-hosted by the City of Cold Lake, 4 Wing, and Kinosoo Ridge Resort. Taking place over the family day weekend in February, Snow Fever promises many winter-themed activities and games for the entire family.

The festivities kick off on Saturday at Kinosoo Ridge Resort, offering a winter paradise with a live DJ and music, Nordic-themed kitchen specials, the race the radar tubing, the Cold Lake Brewing, and Distilling Co snow garden, and the night skiing among other exciting events.

As the weekend unfolds, the celebration transitions to Thomas Varughese Field next to the Cold Lake Energy Centre on Sunday. Attendees can enjoy ice slides, sleigh rides, snow painting, and more. In case the weather turns too cold, certain activities will seamlessly continue inside the Energy Centre.

The grand finale on Monday takes place at 4 Wing Cold Lake, featuring a maple sugar shack, wagon rides, tobogganing, face painting, and additional delights. Events will be spread across the Mackenzie Arts & Community Centre and the Cold Lake Golf and Winter Club, ensuring there is something for everyone.
