Lac La Biche Skating Oval Might Open Earlier Than usual

Lac La Biche County says the skating oval at Hamilton Park could be ready as early as next week.

Staff say that the small amounts of snow in November and December have led to excellent ice conditions which may result in residents being able to skate outdoors a little earlier than anticipated.

Work has started on the oval to get it ready for this year’s Family Day Festival.
