One young man pronounced dead by Kitscoty RCMP after collision

A 14-year-old male driver of a dirt bike has been pronounced deceased after Kitscoty RCMP was called to the scene of a collision. 

RCMP says the collision occurred on Range Road 21, north of Township Road 503 A. When officials arrived on the scene the young driver was pronounced deceased.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the side-by-side was northbound on Range Road 21 and the dirt bike was southbound, when they collided at a turn in the road. 

The investigation continues. 

In a release, RCMP says their thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of the deceased. 

No further information will be released.
