Lucky Lloydminster resident wins Chase the Ace

Five days after it all went down, a lucky Lloydminsterite is the latest winner of the Lloyd Ex Chase the Ace.

Heather Ollen was presented with a cheque for $155,463 on Monday morning.

The Ace of Hearts was drawn on April 12 bringing weeks of anticipation to a close.

The fundraiser has helped the Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association lead a number of upgrades at the events centre including interior renos at the WLS Convention Centre, say officials.

Twenty weekly winners took home some welcome cash over the course of the raffle and there were 32 cards left when the Ace of Hearts was drawn.
