The MD of Bonnyville’s Peace Officers received a bit of an unusual, but most welcome gift yesterday.
A hobbyist out of the Edmonton area mailed the department a custom model replica of a Bonnyville Peace Officer Cruiser, accurate down to the decals and even including the public safety department’s phone number on the rear quarter panel.
The department’s director, Chris Garner didn’t know the artist before being contacted by him, and still only knows him by his twitter handle.
The department plans to display the car in the reception area of its new building.
