Fire permit season is back in full swing.
From now to October 31st, any individuals within the Municipal District of Bonnyville looking to do any sort of burning will require a permit. Permits are free and require 48 hours notice prior to the start of a burn.
The BRFA notes if you are going to do some burning it is important to to choose a safe time to do so. Any fire is more likely to get out of control on a hot, dry or windy day. Burning should be done during the coolest, dampest and calmest time of the day – two hours before sunset, or later.
