Councillor Darrell MacDonald wants a comprehensive study the water quality in Cold Lake.
The study would be performed by a neutral third-party and test for factors including water levels, toxins, and usage. The lake hasn’t had thorough study performed on it since 1985.
Water levels in the Lake have been lower than usual this year. MacDonald wants to make sure the lake is not being depleted a rate that can’t be recovered.
