MD Landfill Hit With Unnecessary Break-ins

The MD of Bonnyville has a very bizarre problem on their hands. People are breaking into the landfill when they don’t need to.

Landfill staff have noticed a conspicuous lack of ferrous metals in landfill piles. People are entering the facility at night and taking whatever metal can be sold for scrap. However, this is completely unnecessary. The public is more than welcome to take whatever they wish from the landfill during regular business hours. Just be advised no climbing on the piles is allowed. Only take what is within easy reach.
