Cold Lake Teacher wins Award

Congratulations are in order for Cold Lake Outreach School Teacher Don Moore, who has won an Innovation and Achievement Award from the Outreach Education Council.

Moore won the award for creating the Tough N Talking or TNT program at Cold Lake Outreach.

The program started as a class for male students that covered topics such as social skills,sex education, confidence and communication skills. The program has been so successful that a version for female students with its own approach has been adopted as well. In total just under 40 students are now participating in the program on a weekly basis.
