Upgrades begin on Lakeview cemetery

A cemetery in the Lakeland is getting some sprucing-up. Crews are working on Lakeview Cemetery on 1st Ave in Cold Lake.

A new drive-through lane that connects 25th Street, memorial wall and bench seating are included in the upgrade plans. A new sign for the cemetery will also be put up.

The city expects crews to have the work done up by July of 2020. A master plan for the cemetery is available on the city’s website.
