MD starts fall work on campsites

Campsites around the Lakeland are packing up and some are taking the fall season to get some work done. The MD of Bonnyville says all of their campsites are now closed for the year.

Work such as a brand new sani-dump for the Cold Lake campground is on the docket. The MD says it expects that project to be completed by next spring in time for the 2020 season.

ATCO is also currently looking at how to bring power to campsites in Chicken Hill, Minnie Lake West and Crane Lake East campgrounds. A decision on that project will be made after council sees the options.

New campground welcome signs are also on the to-do list before the snow flies.
