County of St. Paul Looking into Fixing Moose Hills Road

Discovering ways to fix Moose Hills Road will be examined by The County of St. Paul.

The highway, which has long been plagued by slide issues, wraps around from Lindbergh to north of Elk Point. It is a highly travelled road, both by rural residents and oil industry traffic. The County believe the slope is due to surface water but must first perform an engineering study to be sure of the cause before going ahead with any construction. County council passed a motion to perform the study, which will come with a $100 000 price tag.
