Gun parts, stolen truck among items found during search: RCMP

Cold Lake mounties say a search warrant on a rural home has turned up stolen items and weapons. Mounties say on July 3rd members were searching the home near the city in relation to a firearms investigation.

Police found and seized gun parts and ammunition. A little more investigating turned up a stolen truck, a pair of ATVs as well as some tools. The RCMP estimates the value of the stolen gear at about $25,000.

44-year-old Jason Nunweiler now faces charges including multiple counts of possession of stolen property. He’s since been released and is due in Cold Lake Provincial Court on July 24th.
