MD hosts second open house on park idea

Another open house for a proposed recreation area in the MD of Bonnyville is being hosted. The MD says Shaw House at Vezeau Beach will once again play host to a discussion on ideas. An open house on the prospect of a new park was hosted back in February as well.

Results from a survey on the idea showed most people supportive of the idea. Most wanted a day use area with barbecues and camping. 48% of people who responded negatively said they were worried about the cost and wanted the MD to focus money elsewhere. The MD expects the park to cost anywhere from 22 to 33 million dollars.

Shaw House will be open May 6th from 6:30 to 8 PM.
