Bonnyville mounties are searching for a suspicious person after an incident made social media. The RCMP says on Thursday they were notified of a post on a local Facebook page concerning an older man trying to talk to two young children. The man was trying to talk to the girls while they were walking home in town on April 10th
The man is described as an older and Caucasian, possibly in his 60’s. He has a medium build and was wearing a hat and a black jacket. Police say he was driving an older model red two-door car, possibly a Ford.
Police are reminding the public to report suspicious activity when it happens. They were not notified this incident had taken place until the day after it occurred. Anyone who may have information is asked to call the Bonnyville mounties at 780-343-7200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
