Missing your straps? Vermilion mounties say they might have them

Vermilion mounties are looking for the rightful owner of some stolen tow straps. Police say on March 7th they surprised some suspects called in on suspicious activity in an industrial area in town. The suspects took off but they did leave behind a black duffel bag containing some heavy duty straps used in towing and lifting.

Mounties say they’ll hand them over to the owner as long as they can say what colour they are and what they look like. More information can be found by calling the Vermilion detachment at 780-853-4441.

The RCMP says they are continuing to investigate into the matter.
