Bonnyville RCMP Ask Public for Information on Arson Investigations

The Bonnyville RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in solving two arson investigations.
1. On May 24th, 2015 in the early morning hours, the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment responded to an Arson complaint near 48th avenue and 43rd street in the town of Bonnyville.  A mattress and dishwasher were set out for garbage pick up and were set on fire.  If anyone noticed suspicious activity in the area or in regards to this arson, please contact Cst. WEIERS at 780-343-7200.
2. On May 25th, 2015 at approximately 3:45 AM, The Bonnyville RCMP Detachment received a call from the Bonnyville Fire Authority,  advising that they were heading to a vehicle fire at a residence near Hwy 659 and Range Road 452. A constable with the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment attended the scene and through investigation, deemed the fire to be suspicious in nature.  The vehicle, a 1996 Mercury Mystique, had also been vandalized prior to being set on fire.
