The Bonnyville RCMP are hoping their back seat is full for a good cause. The police aren’t rounding up criminals, but instead food bank donations at “Pack the Police Car 2018”. On December 15th a police cruiser will be parked outside the Bonnyville Sobeys from 10 am to 4 pm.
Mounties say they are accepting non-perishable food donations for the local food bank. Cold Lake mounties finished their “Pack the Patrol Car” drive earlier in the month. They say they were able to raise about 1,200 kilograms of donated food.
