Onion Lake mounties release sketch of sexual assault suspect

Onion Lake mounties are still on the hunt for a suspect in a break-and-enter and attempted sexual assault. The RCMP is saying in December of 2017 at around 7 am they were called to the Onion Lake area after a lady in her 70s awoke to find a man in her bedroom. The man reportedly tried to sexually assault her but was thwarted after someone else knocked on the front door. The suspect took off out the back door and hasn’t been seen since.

Mounties say an investigation and interviews have yet to turn up the suspect. He’s described as standing about five-feet-six-inches tall with a very thin build. A sketch has been released from the RCMP Forensic team.

Anyone who may have information on the crime or the suspect is asked to call the Onion Lake RCMP at 306-344-5550 or online anonymously at the Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers page.
