The Municipal District of Bonnyville is asking residents to control their dogs. There has been an increase of calls to the public safety department regarding complaints about dogs running wild, chasing livestock. If a dog is found on another’s property, officers can charge owners, or farmers can take matters into their own hands under the Stray Animals Act. Public safety is urging residents to keep dogs on their own property.
