Three arrested after warrant round-up in Frog Lake and Fishing Lake

RCMP in Elk Point say a combined effort of mountie resources has resulted in the arrest of three men. Police say over the course of August 21st and 22nd Mounties from Elk Point, the air service and St. Paul police dog services were able to locate a male youth wanted by police near Frog Lake. The youth, who can not be named, reportedly fled from police. He was arrested a short time later without incident.

He now faces charges including flight from police and will see St. Paul court on August 30th.

Police say they were able to catch two more suspects in the area. A 23-year-old man from Fishing Lake reportedly led police on a short chase before he was caught. He now faces charges including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and will see St. Paul court on October 4th.

Mounties say the passenger in the vehicle, a 17-year-old man who can’t be named, was also arrested after providing false information to police. His court date has been set for September 13th in St. Paul.
