Fine Arts Society gets boost from province

The Bonnyville and District Fine Arts Society will get help from the Alberta government when it hosts a multicultural event in September. The province announced the Lakeland group has been selected to receive money from the Alberta Culture Days grant. The grant offers groups around $200,000 to help put their events on.

The Bonnyville event has also been chosen to be one of five featured around the province that weekend. it’s a multicultural showcase of Ukrainian, French, Metis, Indigenous and Filipino dance, music, theatre and more. It will run Septemeber 28th to the 30th.
