Mounties arrest arrest four in Frog Lake warrant round-up

RCMP from the new Eastern Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit say four people in Frog Lake have been arrested on various warrants. Police say the first arrest came on July 18th where RCMP found a 35-year-old man wanted on outstanding charges hiding in a basement of a home. The man faces charges that include flight from police. He’s due to see court in Edmonton on August 28th.

On July 19th, mounties spotted another man wanted on outstanding warrants. Police say when they searched the 30-year old they found both a prohibited weapon as well as drug paraphernalia. He’ll stay in custody and serve out the rest of a sentence he was previously convicted of.

On July 24th, RCMP found two more individuals that were wanted. Police say a search of a home found a 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman. Both now face charges that include possession of property obtained by a crime and assault with a weapon. The two are expected in St. Paul court on August 16th.
