Bonnyville chamber of Commerce has new Executive Director

The Bonnyville Chamber of Commerce has its new Executive Director and the name is a familiar one. Serena Parsons has been announced as the new leader of the group. If the name sounds familiar to you, Serna is coming off 3 years with the Dr. Margaret Savage Crisis Centre in Cold Lake, where her jobs included functions like the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event.

Serena, who originally hails from Newfoundland, has a degree in International Development and Political Science. She cites her passion for communication and journalism as her driving factors.

“I am very happy to work at the Bonnyville & District Chamber of Commerce. I know this organization has done amazing work in our community and I hope to continue with its strategic direction while working to ensure I advocate for the needs of all our members.”
