Two charged with arson after fires in Kehewin

A pair of Kehewin residents are facing charges including arson after a fire last week. Bonnyville mounties as well as members of the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority were called out to the Kehewin Cree Nation on May 14th after both a trailer and mobile home were ablaze.

Police investigated the scene and they believe the fires were intentionally set. RCMP have charged a 42 year old man and a 37 year old woman in relation to the fires. The 37 year old was arrested at the scene. Her first court appearance was on Friday.
