Exercise at CFB Cold Lake could cause longer than normal wait

If you’re one of the many working at CFB Cold Lake, you may notice heightened security this week. The base is conducting an exercise related to base security from May 1st to 3rd . New vehicle checkpoints and more patrols by base security forces are just some of what is expected.

Forces officials say to expect more wait times at entrances to the base and General restricted areas. More military traffic is expected to be seen through the residential area of the base as well.
