Lac La Biche mounties on the hunt for gas station shoplifter

Mounties in Lac La Biche are searching for a suspect in a gas station shoplifting. Police say at around lunchtime Wednesday a man entered the Petro-Canada gas station on Main Street in Lac La Biche. The man reportedly stole a number of items and took off before police could arrive.

RCMP are saying the suspects car was thought to be stolen from Bonnyville recently and the man could be the cause of some recent gas and dash crimes in the Lakeland. Police are reminding the public to stay vigilant when it comes to locking personal property and keeping a look out for crimes in the community.
